Solo Competition

Consider participating in our fourth annual Solo Competition!  The competition is open to any student who will be participating in the Summer Winds, Summer Strings Program.

• In order to compete, please prepare a piece to be performed at the competition at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

• Your piece should be no longer than 5 minutes long.

• You may bring your own accompanist if you choose, although you are not required to play with accompaniment.

• Competitors will be placed in two categories: Middle School and High School.  As a result, we strongly consider competitors of all skill levels to apply!

• One winner from each category earns the opportunity of playing at our end of the summer concert, with accompaniment provided by the Summer Winds, Summer Strings program.
