Consider participating in our fourth annual Solo Competition! \u00a0The competition is open to any student who will be participating in the Summer Winds, Summer Strings Program.<\/p>\n
\u2022 In order to compete, please prepare a piece to be performed at the competition at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Your piece should be no longer than 5 minutes long.<\/p>\n
\u2022 You may bring your own accompanist if you choose, although you are not required to play with accompaniment.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Competitors will be placed in two categories: Middle School and High School. \u00a0As a result, we strongly consider competitors of all skill levels to apply!<\/p>\n
\u2022 One winner from each category earns the opportunity of playing at our end of the summer concert, with accompaniment provided by the Summer Winds, Summer Strings program.<\/p>\n
